Merle and Bette Van Liere become the new Resident Innkeepers of Williams Cottage Inn January 1, 2009. Originally from South Dakota, the Van Lieres moved to New York in July of 2007 to be the Innkeepers of Cromwell Manor Inn - a historical 13 bedroom Bed & Breakfast Inn located only seven miles from West Point Military Academy in the lower Hudson Valley.
We have no doubts that you will truly enjoy our new Innkeepers. Merle and Bette are warm and friendly, yet non-intrusive, and really will cater to your every need. Their elegant, gourmet breakfasts alone will make your stay a memorable event.

For guest enjoyment on the beach, Williams Cottage Inn provides beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. For exploring the island, we supply bicycles. And, when you come back to the Inn there is an outdoor shower for those who wish to remove some of the "sand" before adjourning to their rooms or the common areas of the Inn.
Guests may also borrow books or select a movie from our DVD Library in the parlor. Or, go bowling, golfing or play tennis on our Wii game on the Inn's 55" plasma TV. As well, the Inn provides ice buckets, glasses and bottled water.
And, always....a 24 hour/day coffee and tea self-service bar with freshly homemade cookies for our guests!
